What is REP
TheIndex of Administrative Capacity (Public Rating) is a model of evaluation and comparison of Public Administrations from different territorial levels: national, regional, local.
It grounds on a set of indicators selected on the basis of current regulatory provisions, and uses a methodology based on the ESG Sustainability Indexes, which were used for some time on the financial markets for the corporate world.
What is it for
The Administrative Capacity Index allows you to:
- Measure transparency, anti-corruption and efficiency of PAs in a comparative key
- Map the administrative capacity of PAs
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of each PA
- Provide targeted operational support to the single PA to strengthen its administrative capacity
- Share existing good practices
- Monitor the chronological trend of the administrative capacity of the PAs
