Tuscany is the first among the most efficient regions in health management. The ranking is compiled by Fondazione Etica, which conducted a study and developed a rating to measure the performance of organizations and institutions.
The Tuscan councilor for the right to health commented with satisfaction on the results, presented yesterday in the Chamber and reported today in the press, underlining that they are yet another confirmation of the seriousness of a work that the Tuscany Region has carried out and is carrying out in these years.
It is a job, explains the commissioner, which has focused precisely on the governance of the system in its many aspects: on the issues of efficiency, transparency and certification of financial statements. It is a heavy commitment but one that pays off. A commitment on which Tuscany intends to continue. It is no coincidence, he recalled, that some Tuscan healthcare companies are currently working on procedures, in order to counter and prevent any risks and abuses.
We will continue on this path, he concluded, aware that it does not exempt us from possible accidents along the way but that it is the right direction towards the goal of ensuring a better service to citizens.
