It will be officially presented in Rome next June 24th at 11am, at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the web app "Transparent Administration for the Citizen”: a digital and experimental application that supports PAs in publishing data in the “Transparent Administration” section of their respective websites, making it less burdensome, and at the same time allowing citizens to actually make use of those same data.
The event will be opened by the Director General of the Regional Affairs Department Giovanni Vetritto and coordinated by Paola Caporossi; while the conclusions will be entrusted to the President of ANAC, Joseph Busia.
The application is the result of the work, started in 2022, by“Transparency, anti-corruption and efficiency” experimentation workshop, established under the “Italiae” project of the Department of Regional Affairs of the PdCM and coordinated by Paola Caporossi, with the aim of offering the Unions of Municipalities, Municipalities, Regions and other PAs support aimed at strengthening transparency and prevention of corruption, as well as efficiency .
A Working Group was created within it which focused on an innovative way to facilitate the mandatory publication of data and information in the Transparent Administration section (as per l.190/2012 and legislative decree 33/2013 and subsequent amendments) of the websites, and at the same time improve their usability for citizens, investors and central institutions.
The result was a discussion between administrations, large and small, from the North, the Center and the South, which led to the design of the digital application "Transparent Administration for the citizen". Not yet another additional app for PAs, but an experimental open source application which shows how it is possible:
- support PAs in the publication of data and information, rationalizing and standardizing it, e
- allow citizens to effectively use that data and information, even through a graphic and simplified representation of the same.
