Workshop "Transparency, legality and efficiency"
The first stage of the Working Group of the Experimentation Atelier has ended "Transparency, legality and efficiency”, coordinated by Paola Caporossi, in the context of ITALYE, the Project of the Department for Regional Affairs and Autonomies (DARA), co-financed under the "Governance and Institutional Capacity" Operational Program 2014-2020.
The objective of "Italiae" is to address the issue of administrative fragmentation, favoring processes of optimization of local government in particular by promoting the aggregation of small Municipalities into Unions of Municipalities.
More specifically, the aim of the Atelier is to offer the Unions of Municipalities, Municipalities and Regions support aimed at strengthening transparency and the prevention of corruption, as well as efficiency, through the sharing of existing good practices and those identified among Unions themselves, and by adopting the point of view of the stakeholders, and in particular of the citizens, through participatory processes of civic engagement.
The Atelier made use of a Working Group that brought together the skills of officials and managers of Unions of Municipalities, Regions and other PAs, and focused on a sub-objective: facilitating the mandatory publication of data and information in the Transparent Administration section of websites, and at the same time improve their usability for citizens, investors and central institutions.
In other words, it is a question of simplifying, facilitating and improving the feeding, updating, visualization and usability of the "Transparent Administration" section on the respective websites, as per l.190/2012 and legislative decree 33 /2013 and subsequent amendments.
The result of this shared path is a digital application open source for Unions, Municipalities, Regions, which inserts in the Transparent Administration section of the Administrations' websites a space dedicated to the presentation in pills of four types of information, relating to budgets, personnel, services and reporting of public real estate assets.
The application will be presented during the webinar, organized by DARA for the next one June 23rd, which will see the institutional greetings of the President of the National Anti-Corruption Authority, Avv. Giuseppe Busia, and the intervention of the Director of the European Commission - DG Regio, Dr. Nicholas DeMichelis.
