The Corriere della Sera has published our indicators on the economic and financial management of the almost eight thousand Italian municipalities, which reflects a two-speed country, with the North performing better than the South in the management of financial resources, but not so clearly when variables such as demographic size or territorial location are taken into consideration.
But, more generally, it has emerged to date that no municipality is better or worse in absolute terms than the others, and that everyone has something to learn and teach. Mapping the administrative capacity of PAs allows individual bodies to improve, central government to intervene with targeted and non-standardized support, and citizens to know their Municipality and interact with it as equals.
